Cranberry Cocktail
This refreshing recipe uses fresh cranberries, instead of frozen.
1 cup cranberries
1 cup water
2 litres 7-Up, Slice, or Sprite
Ice
Wash the cranberries. Put it saucepan, add water, and cook over low heat until all the berries burst (about 15 minutes). Pour the fruit and liquid into a cheesecloth-lined sieve. Strain the juice into a glass bowl or pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until cool.
Fill punch bowl or large pitcher halfway with ice. Pour cranberry juice over the top, then add soda. Float a few cranberries and orange slices on top.
Wonderfully refreshing! Works well with diet soda, too, for the calorie conscious.
